Assalamualaikum

I lost a friend.. he met with an accident.

At his funeral, many of his friends and relatives were singing praises about him... but the guy is already dead !! Would have been nice if he knew how much he was appreciated when he was still living :(

I myself wished i had told him how grateful i was for the many occasions he encouraged me in my work.
When others were always pessimistic of new ideas he, on the other hand, would always push me on..... and his motto was always, "someone has to start before others would know about them....."

I now realised that we tend to save our praises till after it is too late. Or that we are often thrifty with our praises but generous with our complaints...

Well, why not praise the living, if they do deserve the praises, while we have the chance? They can't hear us when they are dead, so what's the point?

Go on... make someone's day.... a kind word may well make the difference in a person's life...

Salam sister Alexandra 1985

That is a very kind thought...

And do not apologise for any lack of talents..

If someone is so telented but lacks compassion for others, the talents are truly wasted....

Salaam sister,

You have a good point.. I think we people should really every moment in our life, so we would like to live it over and over again..

This is including taht we wouldn't do something we regret later (regreting is good, but doing wrong is bad)?.. Or other ways..not doing something we could have done.

I have a neighbour, an old man. He has a son, but he hardly is visiting him and other part of the family is dead.. I am not very talented person...just very simple. I love to cook and bake, and often I do so my my friends.. Suddenly I reliazed I could do so to him.. I don't know him so well... But if that can make someone a bit happier...even a sec, it's good...

Maybe I am silly and I have not so much talents, but I want to give me very best to this world for my love to Allah..
