Imprisonment, torture and death continue to dog the path of Christians in Pakistan. In August 2004, 26 year old Nasir Masih was arrested on false charges of theft and subsequently beaten to death while in police custody. Christians who gathered to protest were disbanded by police who proceeded to arrest seventeen of the demonstrators. In March 2005, a group of women who had gathered for prayer and fasting in Miskeen Musharaf Colony in Islamabad were attacked by Muslims from a nearby mosque. The Imam reportedly led the attack along with his students. The Pakistani news agency, Dawn, reported that the Imam objected to the construction of the church. Before building, the local Christians had interviewed the seventy-five households in the neighborhood and heard no objections. Just a few days later, in the village of Khambay near Lahore, the Victory Church International was attacked during their Easter services. Six men were injured during the attack, one critically, and another was killed. This, too, was motivated by individuals in the area who opposed the presence of the church, even though it had been on that property for more than a century. A neigbouring Muslim family apparently wanted the land on which the church and cemetery are. In all of this, Pakistani believers continue to remain faithful, even while risking their safety and property for the sake of Christ.

Talk about alot of hated for some one just base on their faith . Leaves the question What is this world coming to if you have to be scared to practous what you believe. Not all of one or the other are bad people . This would be like Muslims trying to do that in this country and the same happing to them I just think that both religions are missed understood by either country . Theres really no excuse for hated crimes towards either of the two . Just don't take what I said to be how I view Muslims ,in the commite I made before . Just a thought .

"Alleged Massacre in Iraq by christian army"The Pentagon is investigating an alleged Marine rampage that may have left as many as two-dozen unarmed Iraqi civilians dead last November in the Iraqi town of Haditha. The numbers are far higher than had been previously reported and have shaken the Marine hierarchy. Investigators are still piecing together what happened on a November morning in Haditha, a Sunni stronghold northwest of Baghdad. But they have some troubling details: 24 civilians died in a hail of gunfire, including 11 women and children, a government official familiar with the investigation tells NPR. The initial reports said a roadside bomb blew up one Marine and 15 Iraqi civilians. The investigation has now turned that story upside down, revealing a much more disturbing chain of events, says the official, who asked not to be identified. It all started when four Marine Humvees entered Haditha. A roadside bomb exploded, killing a Marine and wounding two others. The Marines jumped out and set up a defensive posture. Suddenly, a taxi carrying five Iraqi men pulled up. The Marines ordered the unarmed men out of the vehicle, and the five Iraqis were killed, the official said. The Marines quickly began a search of four houses. Most of the Iraqi civilians killed were inside their houses. Only in that final house did Marines find an Iraqi male with an assault rifle. He, too, was killed, says the government official. "Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood," said Rep. John Murtha, a Pennsylvania Democrat and former Marine.
