I think arranged marriage if both parties agree, has a better chance at making it work than the western way of doing things. I believe though their needs to be some attraction to each other if arranged or the love making in marriage wont survive. The parents if muslims, have more experience and will be looking out for what is best for their child, however; if you find him unattractive or worse in your eyes then there may be a problem later in the bedroom. I can imagine how awkward it would be to have this stranger touch you for the first time, and it makes your skin crawl. basic chemistry must play a part!

yes there is a diff.between both marriages.its ok to arrange if both parties are happy.but remember if youre asian (pak.or indian)then its mostly forced marriages due to the parents honour lol.and these parents proffess love for thier children but if they really loved them they would let them marry from own choice or atleast ask the girl.forced marriages produce illigitamte children..ask any girl that was married in this scenario.so plzz ppl stp playing with allahs laws.these are the same ppl who accept riba lol.but allah sees all that we display and what is in our hearts
