A girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph on the road on a motorcycle...
Girl: Slow down, I'm scared.
Guy: No, this is fun.
Girl: No it's not. Please it's too scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine I love you. Slow down!
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug.
:: Girl hugs him ::
Guy: Can you take my helmet off and put it on yourself? It's bugging me.
In the paper the next day:
? A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of brake failure. Two people were on it, but only 1 had survived.?
The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his brakes broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead,
he had her say she loved him and felt her hug one last time, and then he had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.
If u love any one this much..let them know..before it is too late..

Love is eternal, love is beauty and beauty directly or indirectly leads to Allah.

Love can be with living beings and non living beings. Love means yearning and longing for somebody. True love is love at first sight. For example if a person fall in love with a girl at first sight. And never do things which should be done after marriage. He never sees her and does love ONLY IN HIS HEART UNTIL HE DIES. HE WILL BECOME A MARTYR. Because he has been doing prayer in his heart which will definetly be rewarded by Allah but the condition is that he see the girl only once and never sees her ( I mean his neeat is good in mind).

Salam Everybody
According to my thinking, love is:

Love is a shy smile,
a sweet hello,
a soft caress...

Love is two hands entwined,
a lingering kiss,
a swelling of the heart...

Love is undeniable,
unforgettable,
unimaginable,
and what every heart yearns for...

Love everybody

Assalaamualaykum brothers and sisters,

Love will appear between man and woman only if they work on it. Things like caring of each other, doing things your partner loves, trying to understand your partner's feeling etc. But the most important thing is it must be based on love for Allah swt. Because only He will put TRUE love between man and woman eventually, He is the source of love. I don't believe that if both man and woman have done everything necessary for their love (i.e. based on love for Allah), the love between them still doesn't appear. This is what Allah swt. promises us:
"And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect." (Quran Ar-Rum: 21).
One will taste the sweetness of eemaan when he/she loves or doesn't love someone only for the sake of Allah (according to al-hadeeth).

Love between people is relative. Someday it might disappear due to any reason (being deeply hurt, separated by death etc.). Love for Allah is absolute. He never dissapoints you due to His Perfection. This is because everything is relative and He alone is The Absolute.

Endless love between woman and man is only possible if it is based on love for Allah swt., that love will bring a couple into the paradise and their love will continue there ..

Love is to care, trust and u never think in a nagitve way about ur lover. ITS NOT VITAL THAT OTHER TO WHOM u love, also love u. Its sacred emotion not a buisiness. whenever u think about himoher only a face comes into ur eyes of dreams.

"would you forgive and keep loving your wife (or husband) if they don't love you? Any thoughts?

If you are seeking gods reward you will continue doing your duty to your husband even if he doesn't love you, and if he is seeking gods reward he will give you all your rights and deliver all of his duties even if he can't love you.

When you reach a level where you give without expecting return from mortals but rather from god the king of the whole world you will know the highest level of faith that was vivid in the lives of the prophet???s SAW life and of his friends after him.

What is love but the death of selfishness, a sacrifice in the eyes of others, but a happiness seen by your eyes?

Praise be to Allah. The greater love would be not to call death as it would take you away from her.

"Would you forgive and do everything you can to help even if they do not love you and they will never return the favor? They are your family, god has chosen them for you, they are not perfect but they are your own."

those are the words of kady40.
does that applies to your family members as your parents, brother or sister, I agree. But would you forgive and keep loving your wife (or husband) if they don't love you? Any thoughts?

The dictionary defines "Emotion" as "an affective state of consciousness in which joy, sorrow, fear, hate, or the like is experienced, as distinguished from cognitive and volitional states of consciousness. Any strong agitation of the feelings actuated by experiencing love, hate, etc, and usually accompanied by certain physiological changes, as increased heartbeat, respiration, or the like and often overt manifestation, such as Trying or shaking."
Emotion is intensified feeling. It can become so strong and overpowering that it masters the mind or judgment.

Though "love"is generally defined as an emotion, I would say that Love is not an emotion; Love is the Mother of Emotion. Love is the Creative Force out of which all things come. Love can be broken down into 4 principles: Freedom, Justice, Equality and Obedience to the Will of Allah (God). We call our intense feeling of like or dislike "Love" and "Hate". But Love is not just an intense feeling. That is a limitation that this world has placed on it, making it our emotional reaction to something.

The Creative Force is separate from the intense feeling that we have toward the created thing. Allah (God) created the jackass, yet He states in the Holy Qur'an that the most hateful sound to Him is the braying of the jackass He created. He created the hog, yet He has an intense dislike for it. The Devil is made out of the Creative Force, and H

The Devil is made out of the Creative Force, and He certainly has an intense dislike for the Devil.

The jackass, the hog, the Devil, all serve as a means to facilitate the Creative Act of Love, Beneficence, Mercy. Allah (God) does not desire disease on His planet. So He makes a detestable thing, the Hog, which is used to extract a medicine to remedy some of the effects of a diseased thing that He has allowed to run wild and loose on the Earth; its presence facilitates a Divine Purpose.

We must not narrow Love to an emotional reaction. But when we say, "God is Love", the word "is" is represented by the symbol, then Love has to be complete, because God is not an emotion. All of His Attributes are embodied in the Creative Force we call Love; an intense like for something is only one of its manifestations.

Dear chanda2002

I am not using the story to give an example about love I am trying to inspire people to think again.
As humans we tend to categories our daily acquired experiences and feelings. We only retrieve the memory of a person or how we feel about them only when we think about it.

Let???s assume you have an annoying sister who always hurt you; I am sure your defense walls are always high when she is around. What if one day she is ill with kidney failure, would you give her your kidney? Would you pay your brothers debts?

Would you forgive and do everything you can to help even if they do not love you and they will never return the favor?
They are your family, god has chosen them for you, they are not perfect but they are your own.
Why wait for the extreme to happen to really know how you feel about everyone around you and how much time do you need to let them know how you feel?

Love can be described and expressed with life itself

Words:
Poetry in all the languages of the world described and given lovers the best terms for them to express themselves

Eyes:

Why do you think it is romantic to have dinner with candle lights?
Scientifically proven that the eyes dilate in the dim light to improve the quality of the image that is transferred to the brain, that is way you think the person you are with is more attractive in the candle lights than in the day light.

When you lay your glittering eyes on your loved one you will speak louder than your words.

Lips:
Your smile can open the hardest doors in the world (doors of the heart)

But the person who you choose to be your life partner is YOUR CHOICE, your worst mistake if you get it wrong and the best one if you get it right.

Don???t forget that you can express love with every square inch of your body.

I give my brothers and sisters massages and I cook their favorite dishes regularly. I always make sure to give them a hug or 2 every now and than and say I love you.

When one of them is sick I hover around them to make sure they are worm , well feed and have taken their medicines.

I hope you think again about the definition of love in your mind and if you need help I could suggest some of the Islamic and classical literature books that could give you an insight from people who have fallen in love. :0)

I do not think that its really an example of Love...., a muslim if he can save life of some one, he or she will do so...., in my pt of vue Love is a feeling and attraction in between 2 personnes, which we can feel but not really discribe...,we can only show with acts...,and when we r in love generally we do stupid acts :)

Dear Kady40,

God almighty implanted the sense of love in our deepest soul so that we can taste the ecstacy of LOVE. LOVE in its truest sense remains with Him alone. Seek and increase His love through good deeds. God shows his love toward us through His blessing. In the same way, by a lesser degree, we bless others who does goodness.
