Misyar Marriage.
This is absolutely my opinion only and you may comment on it, thank you.
Misyar marriage is a marriage without a financial obligation to the second, third and forth wives.
Example:
I already married with 3 kids. (First marriage/first wife)
Then, I married 3 more women 1. a widow age 40 with 2 young kids 2. a widow age 35 without kids 3. a single woman age 35
All three of them are financial freedom that means they do not depend on me on daily needs.
It is different than polygamy as polygamy you (husband) have to support everything to all your wives.
The reason why Islam allowed Misyar marriage is that;
1. Woman need companion, at least they have a husband that they share their problems, share their filling, share their sexual needs, raising their kids and so on. 2. Misyar marriage does not apply to young woman. In Malaysia, as far as I know, young woman is consider below 30 years old. After the age of 30, it is hard for a woman to get a husband. 3. Lots of women nowadays are financial stable, have car, house, and a secure job but for a married man, he have lots of things to think. To have another wife without strong financial backgrounds is very difficult.
Polygamy is considered as men?s pride as they can married more than one woman. Misyar marriage is considered as men?s responsibilities towards society. They did not marry because of sex, or beautiful face/body that woman have. They marry women because to protect women from fitnah, or because kids have no father or she need a guidance or she need someone to share problems.
Hmmm? hard for me to explain details as I am not good in english.
