ASA, May the blessing come to fruition for you. I made hajj last year, and was surprised at how physically easy it was. I rarely got tired of walking. For the elderly or sick it might be difficult though. Also, at some point everyone gets a little sick so that can slow you down. Read several different scholarly opinions on teh acceptable practices in hajj and umrah. You will see differences of opinion between scholars (like most things in our deen). Try to find out the order your group is doing the hajj in. My group went for umrah, then to medina, then to hajj. So we had no choice. The order is insignificant anyway. I'll try to write more later, inshallah.

assalamu aleykum brother, make sure you get trained cos you gonna walk allot. First go to Kaba dont visit the prophet b4 you become a hajji.study all the things of the hajj also learn the dua for Janazah cos that prayer is almost after every prayer.(a lot of people die daily, not nessecary hajji's)and know how to perform the Janazah prayer according to your Mazhab.best advice dont stay too long at your hotel try to avoid nonsense talks and be in the Mescidil haram area as much as you can.it speaks for it self make as much umrah as you can and nafile deeds.once you get there you ll know what todo .but you must study well so it will be easier where what will take place.the best experience is the one you make and not what others tell you. honey can be delicious but you cannot hear how delicious unless you taste it yourself
