Dear Brothers and Sisters One Question which has different answers but which answer is correct. Are we Muslims first and then Human Beings, or Human Beings and then Muslim? Which one? asallamoalikum,we r Muslim which make us good humen being,one who recognize his creator & submit himself,otherwise u r nothing but animal,it also mention in quran don't know exactly an in what surah which i will bring later inshallah

When we enter this world as a newborn we are muslims... we come out in sajuud... we submit to Allah (SWT) and in being muslims we are too humans- Like anyone other animal Allah has created. the word Human is just that a word a discription placed upon our species. A title but Muslim is who we are....it's not a title it's our way of life.. it's our true identy when the day of judgemnt come... We are just mere slaves to Allah (SWT)

salam all, strange phenomna that we feel the two to be separate-how. If a muslim is one who submits, then surely that is a human choice-hence there actually entwined. The nature around us follows Allahs command without the option of choice. So forgive me if i'm mistaken but your not seperating the two inseperables, to use as an escape goat for something....disallowed by islam loved by human nature..ru?

If one see his/herself first as a Muslim then human being then no mater what one will do or think motivated by Islam. In other words his/her world will be run by remembering Allah (SWA) Therefore such person can't do anything harm to other human being. So no mater what profession you have but if you think you are Muslim then in fact you are building your hereafter while you doing your everyday work.
This is why there is a saying "Sleeping time of a Momin (pious person) is accounted as prayer"
I myself always put Islam first on the top of everything.
