Assalamualaikum, JUST GENTLE REMINDERS FOR ALL. ABOUT MISFORTUNE The Sayings of the Prophet, Do not rejoice in the misfortunes of another person. The Almighty may show him compassion, but create difficulties for you. ABOUT MARRIAGE The Sayings of the Prophet, The widow shall not be married until she is consulted, and the virgin shall not be married until her consent is obtained. ABOUT LIGHT The Sayings of the Prophet, There is a light in the heart that is illuminated only by following the truth. It is a part of the light of the prophets, which has been entrusted in the heart of the believers. ABOUT FASTING The Sayings of the Prophet, Five things will break the fast: lying, speaking behind a person's back, creating mischief between two persons, swearing falsely, and looking with lust. ABOUT ACTION The Sayings of the Prophet, Actions will be judged by their intentions, and every person will receive according to his intention. ABOUT HEREAFTER Words of Allah in Holy Quran (29:64), The life of this world is nothing but a pastime and play! It is the hereafter that is the real life, if they but knew it. ABOUT PARENTS Words of Allah in Holy Quran (17:23), Be kind to your parents. When they attain old age, you shall not say to them any word of contempt, nor shout at them, but address them with respect. ABOUT HEART The Sayings of the Prophet, There is a piece of flesh in the body. If it is healthy, then the body is healthy. If it is diseased, then the body is diseased. That piece of flesh is the heart. ABOUT BODY The Sayings of the Prophet, The believers are like a body: when one part suffers from illness, the rest of the body shares the suffering. ABOUT FORGIVEN The Sayings of the Prophet, A prostitute passed by a dog, panting with its tongue out, on the top of a well, almost dying with thirst, so she took off her footwear, tied it with her headscarf and drew forth water for the dog; she was forgiven on account of this. ******************************** FROM ALLAH WE COME, AND TO ALLAH WE WILL RETURN. ********************************
