It all happened few years back when i was working in medical ward as intern. There was a female patient of 26 yrs with 4 child.She was admitted with heart ailment. She was in heart failure due to valvular disease and there was risk of further worsening of her condition if she concieves. My sir who was non muslim advised her for family planning with some pill or better with tubetomy(a method for permanent contraception so that she cannot be pregnant again, as she was financial too weak to bear the cost of valve replacement) The lady n all family memebers flatly rejected the idea saying its not alloweed in islam. Death and life is in GOD's hand. Is it wise to say all our fate is fully dependent on GOD hand. Can we ignore precautions ?
