You make a good point. I see it all the time. We got the Muslims in our community who don't know their limits. They try so hard to blend in that they start to blend in with the wrong crowd. Its sad. A lot of people don't realize it, but the more the non-muslims see how confident and proud the Muslims are to be dressed in Hijab, or whatever, the more they want to learn about Islam. Well, some of them. WE need to be proud to be Muslims and represent right...

u also can wear the Hijab, be a good muslim, and be a good example, and make non-muslim be proud to know you..

I feel that everyday.. and I do what I feel.. and really I'm getting a good feed-back... even in the media..

remember a smile is a sadaka to even non-muslim.
why be ashamed of being a muslim??
I'm proud of beeing a MUSLIM! look, what islam did for the humain being!
First think, he did free the women!
if the womens nowadays think they are free, than they might be som subject for some others.. They just don't realize it..
I only get ashamed when I see a muslim is ashamed of his deen!

All your points are very ture :)
It also is hard to go anywhere now a days without being judged, and yes i understand. "We should be proud to be islam!", but like all human beeings we have feelings. Its very chalenging to an eveyday life expecialy living outside the muslim world. Maybe some muslims want to have the experiance of another culture , alah wants us to be true and kind and open hearted :). Or maybe some muslims feel shy or think they stand out and dont like to be looked at differently , expecialy now with these terrorist attacks. And thats okay to think that way! its normal lol we all do it some time in our life. But also If you are very dedicated to islam then you should have no feelings for any way an outsider thinks .....
that was a very good topic lol!!! thank you for sharing and listening :)
