I'm thinking of moving to Australia, but I'm torn as to whether this is a good decision or not. I'm an African-American living in DC, and the situation here is pretty good for me in terms of tolerance, respect, and a connection to the umma.

However, I've heard not so good things about the community there as far as the treatment of Muslims and minorities in general. Also, I'm worried as to whether there's a strong Islamic presence there or not. Any info or advice from Australians (or people who've at least been there)?

if you want to go there and your heart desires this so much. why dont you go there now around the world as I speak people turn to islam no place left in the world or it has muslims. follow your heart
