My guess more money more problems, I think it should be some money for food to buy a house, for family, give good education to children, buy a car, not fancy one, just to be average person. But love is #1, love brings more happiness than money, money give some kinda balance, average person should have enough money for daily family needs.
If you really think about it, I would choose love of course. I mean come on...
Money goes, Love stays easy as it seems. SO i say Love is the best thing that can happen to someone. Money recieve it and then use it.OOOOOKAAY
Love to practice the religion of Allah, then what we expect will be given, Money does 'nt make love, love makes us to earn money etc.., Do not confuse about love and money, People Having lots of money does not find love, Love is everlasting unless and until u fullfill the needs

There was a religious family once at home around the time of breaking fast. Usually they get few poor people knocking the door around that time and the family used to help them break the fast with what they have cooked for themselves. One day after several years, the sons were married; the family heard knock on the door and an old man ?head of the family? opened the door and saw 3 poor people standing on the door asking to come in. The old man was kind of surprised ?these three poor people asking to come in the house instead of asking for food, what?s up with that?. He asked their names. One said ?My name is money.? The other said ?My name is Happiness? and the third one said ?My name is Love.?
The old man was stunned and didn?t know what to do since he didn?t know that there are people as well in this world with these names. He asked to wait outside the door until he gets back. He goes to his wife and daughter in law while they were preparing the dinner table for iftaar. He told the whole story to them and asked for their advice.
Wife said ?why don?t we call Money in the house first and fulfill his needs to whatever he wants, never know Allah will reward us with lots of money?
Old man said ?naaaah I think we need happiness in the house so I will call happiness first and fulfill his needs?
Pregnant Daughter in Law said ?Mom, Dad please let?s call Love in the house first?. The old man and his wife was still discussing who should we call in the house first. The old man could not decide. He went up to the door and said ?why don?t you all three come in.? the poor people replied ?no only one person can come in at a time?.
The old man got confused and said to himself ?these three poor people with demands WOW?, he decided to fulfill his daughter in law?s wish and said ?Okay ?Love? why don?t you come in first.?
Love started following the old man in the house, behind love, there was Happiness and behind...
Well Tooni, you have interpreted this in one way which is true that its woman?s choice to whom she should marry considering who can provide what she is use to unless she agrees to lower standards.
But on the other hand we have one hadith that some one was very poor and he had nothing, he went to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) that he is very poor and nothing in his hand, what should I do? Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) advised him to go for a ?Nikah?. He said I don?t have any thing, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) again replied to him ?GO FOR NIKAH?. The wisdom in this was that when a man gets married, their life is blessed also financially If (it is mentioned that if) the man is hardworking and he tries to earn for living honestly then Allah Almighty helps him by opening ways for finical betterment.
Disappearing of love without money is not the case with all, I have seen many cases that couple got married their financial situation was not good but afterwards they progressed in a way that they are being considered successful not only financially but also in their family life. (It can only be achieved when some one is a true believer, honest and hardworking).
ALLAH (SWT) says that a woman should marry a man who can provide for according to what she is used to. Unless she agree to lower her way of life if she so chooses.
There is a lot of wisdom in this. Especially since many couples (I know some of them) who got married for love...no money. The love soon disappeared...'cos of financial problems..husband not being able to nafaqah his wife..etc
So dont be foolish. Turn to ALLAH! Ask him for guidance and act accordingly.
I once heard a story about money as being the sea and life being a boat on it...
In order to survive (keep afloat) we need money..but the minute we make money the object of our existence: it floods the boat (our life) we will sink..
Its a means to an end!
Allah (SWT) will place love between a married couple as long as they have the right intentions. As for the comparison to money, there is no comparison because Allah (SWT) is the ultimate provider. He will make a way for it to happen. It is true that this life is only a spec compared to the universe that we call the herafter, but we should follow the Prophet(S)'s sunnah and marry for religion first then other things such as beauty, wealth, and status. So if were up to me, I would choose love. Love of the deen. :)
