Feeling attractive to someone the first time you see him/her is possible. And this attraction maybe grow and maybe not.

Love at first site could be a chemical reaction.

I don't know.........I suppose you can have love at first site, but the older that love gets, the deeper it gets, its like it grows.......so I spose it just gets bigger........but seriously, I don't know
I think 'Love at first site' is basically attraction to another person, either sex. This attraction could be physical or moral. It's a guenuine admiration for beauty that creates the feeling of belonguing. True Love is completely different.
Well, considering most of the Muslim women I've met are totally covered, the site and the sight are the same, dark cloth and a a veil. This is probably why so many Western women can attract a mate, not to say it is lust, but like many species, the female in this case tries to attract the male. In nature it is the opposite. The male does the dancing to attract. In my case, I need a bag over my head....so she cannot see how ugly I am? (lol)
Well, to some people love at first sight is a preferred way to get to know someone. But " beauty is in the eye of the beholder" .....Internal beauty is still the most important....
Sure I believe in love at first sight. Why not if you like somebody. But that's not all. It's like when you see a nice desert and from the visual apperance it looks delicous and tasty, but then when you try that desert yourself, your opinions then might vary. Ohh it was too sweet, not enough fruits, not enough cake, not enough topings, etc etc. Or the mircale might happen, and you might finally say it was a perfect desert for me. I like to keep it.

So the bottom line is, You might like the desert, or you might not. Either or.

How different are you.i really agree with your oppinion with the fact that u can have a feeling inside u or wish a lady is ur when u sight the person at first just as i am feeling know when i sighted u.But the best thing one could do is not to let his emotions run over him and take his/her time and seek for Allah's guidance and if it was the best for him then Allah will make it so.i will love to know you better and how alot differnt u are.

Salaam All, Love, war & peace talks sense, and i agree that love at first sight is in fact lust at first sight, love is a bond of personalities and a heart cannot be content upon emotions but for a short while. If you run behind a first look then you are running after your sexual desires, simply put. The heart or mind does not follow a first look. And by the way, looks will take you towards the world of Iblis and they will eventually turn you into a follower of Iblis.
Living life as accordingly to the truth is not difficult, we allow it to become difficult and then embed in our minds and hearts that it is infact difficult. We each make our own worlds and live as we want to live. There is no power nor any strength but within Allah[swt].
