that only in the old testament for a women to wear a veil God looks at the heart not the outside looks that only human lust that we like different shapes and sizes but anyway i will make you my wife not by your looks but by your Allah fearing women
i know what you mean, its the same over here in england, i really want to grow my beard for obeying gods command and trying to bring as much of our beloved prophets(peace be upon him) ways into my life, i strayed big time in life now im starting to realise the truth.
well i think all of the muslim women should wear it. Allah would not command things that inflict us in the negative way..of course, behind all the do's and dont's in islam, there's virtues in it..chayo!!,SIS, try your best to fulfill one of the vital command for muslimah in islamm..I BET NEITHER ONE OF US ARE WILLING TO BE BURN BY THE HELL FIRE..
Hijab means to wear polite dresses, no see-through ones, no short-cuts--showing breasts, thighs, profound backs because these are very attractive part of a body.
Neither Koran nor Hadith ask you to wear an extra cloths like veil. So if you do, you are not taking guidance from Allah and Rasul. Your Imams, Scholars say wear veil, cover face but Allah and Rasul did not say these. So you give more importance to these Scholars than Allah and Rasul. This may be sherek which is not forgiven by Allah[Koran 4:48:]
Allah says " obey Allah and obey Rasul and the one in the authority but if you differ go back to Allah and Rasul if you have Iman on Allah and the Last day[4:59]. So we do not have to obey Imams and Scholars. You only ask them if you do not understand a topic in the Koran and Hadith. You are not allowed to go to them before you find yourself what is in the Koran and Hadith according to this Ayat. You are not allowed to ask Imams first before you consult the Koran and Hadith. Allah did not say --obey Scholars first? Did He?
Rasul said --do not cover face and hands. This is an order. If we do not obey Rasul we will go to hell [72;23]. If we do not obey Imams and Scholars we do not go to hell. Do we? We are not allowed to obey any one apart from Allah and Rasul.
Obey Allah means obey every word in the Koran. If we disobey Allah how can we go to heaven? We can not give any excuses to Allah not following the Koran as many translations are in the market, in various languages.
Kafeers do not follow the Koran. So if I do not follow the Koran , shall I not be a kafeer?
This Book is the guide for the Muttakin[God-fearing][2:2] So if we do not use this Book as a daily guide we can not be God-fearing. All non-God fearings are either Kafeers or Hypocrites [4:145]. So there is no ifs and buts. We must use Koran as a guide in our daily life if we call ourselves as MUSLIMS.
think the decision should be between you and Allah (swt) and not for anyone else to judge. I think that we as Muslims should be more forgiving of each other and stop being so judgemental of each other and other people...
i agree this comments..no one can judge..its decision deep from ur hearts.i pray the best for u sister.take care.
I don't know who this Goochy is but if you are so fearless to write such blasphemous crap like that then may you feel Allah's wrath...
Ash-hadu an La illaha illa Allah wa Mohammaddan Rasul ALLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Asalamu alaikumbeautiful sister,
Baby girl, you think this is hard-try Allah's wrath!
Remember Paradise is full of the hard and trying things in life and Hell is full of the easy, desireful things in life. I'm 22 and I just started wearing a hijab and I feel proud! You should be able to be recogniseable amongst those that don't believe-I want everybody to know i'm a Muslim, no wires crossed i am what i am. I would shout it from the roof tops if i could. you should be proud too-be a leader not a follower. Young girls might look up to you and follow in your foot steps. Wearing a hijab is not easy at first when you're used to not wearing it at all, but pleasing Allah should come before anything.
My advice to you is being in America and with all thatis going on there it will be hard. Im form London and I get all sorts of looks and to be honest I love it. As soon as they've made that connection that im a Muslim I feel great, I feel like nothing can harm me whilst Allah is always on my side. Often than not people are amazed, curious and are nicely surprised once they get to know me. I have also found that wearing a hijab makes you more attractive to men that also fear Allah. They are not attracted to your outer shell but the bold statement the hijab offers.
Sister, wear it and feel good about it. Do your research on it and do it with the best intentions.
p.s I'm here if you need any help x
Yes sister you should as every Muslima who believes in Allah and Muhammad should obey the commands of Allah AWJ. Do not worry about the people and do not fear them. Allah is our Protector. We belong to Him and and to Him is our return.
I pray that you win your fight against your nafs and shaytan and that you will take pride in wearing hijab for the sake of Allah. Ameen.
This is my problem with wearing a scarf. I am from the US and I am a police officer. Which would keep me from wearing one at my job. Unforntunately this is a dangerous and unforgiving country. You are targeted by the way you look. Where I live if you are wearing a scarf you are bringing more attention to yourself..negative attention. Men are more likely to pay attention to you and to sexually harrass you
Sister, I know that it is difficult at times to wear a hijab, especially if those around you do not encourage it. Fortunately for me, my mother is my example of a Muslim woman covering and still doing her part in this world. I live in California where there are half-naked people running around on a daily basis and it is hard to see others being admired for their beauty while mines is concealed. I have been wearing my head scarf since I was a little girl and I still wear it to this day. I try to think of the future life and maintain my hold on Islam. Wearing the head scarf makes me stand out from the crowd and I am proud to let the world know that I am a Muslimah in heart and appearance. You make the decision to either wear your scarf or not, Allah gives all His servants free will. Just remember that it is ordained and there will be consequences for all our actions, good or bad or misguided on the day of reckoning. May you stay protected. Salaam.
Wearing hijab is an act of obedience to Allah (swt). Obedience manifests as worship to Allah (swt) which is part of our Tawheed. ?Allah says in the ?Qur?an:
It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His messenger have ?decreed a matter that they should have an option in their decision. And whoever disobeys ?Allah and His Messenger has indeed strayed in a plain error.
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts etc)". [Surah 24:31]
Cover the other attractions that do not show, such as the hair, neck and throat, arms and legs, from all people except her husband, and her consanguineous, non-marriageable relations or mahrim [ Those persons whom the woman is forbidden to marry because of the proximity of the relations whom she finds it hard to hide these afrom. "and not to reveal heir adornment except to their husbands, fathers, their husband
s fathers, their sons, their husband's sons, their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex". [Surah 24:31]
Marshallah you are very beautiful and yes you should wear hijab but do it for the right reason, for the sake of Allah.
I knew when it was the right time, because i felt it in my heart and wanted to please Allah.
Inshallah you will start to wear it in no time.
