Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuh

I adore hijab
Whole my life before converting i thought that it is just a prison for a woman to be covered. And i thought their main dream to tear it off and throw somewhere far away :)

However when i put it on, I felt that it was my mistake to think like that.

In hijab i feel myself so protected, so comfortable and even kinder, closer to Allah, cleaner, more creative.

People look at me with interest because it is rarity to meet hijabed muslimah here. But all they look with kindness
I think woman in hidjab looks so feminine, graceful and tender. She is just a piece of Art.

Assalaam alaikum,

I write as a Finnish female person. I converted to islam in last December, so I could tell how I feel about wearing a hijab. First of all I wanted to wear hijab and obey Allah's will. For me, islam is more inside things than outside things. But I met some friends from Middle East who were wearing hijab and I think it was nice. I felt women wearing hijab were pretty and innocent looking.

After I start wearing hijab suddenly many people often stared at me in street. I told my self, it is only the curioustity. But time after time...I got tired of these people who are living without having great knowledge about islam or Allah..

As a student, it was not a big deal to wear a hijab. Actually my school allowed muslims to have a room for praying.

Then I had to work..suddenly I felt time after time going interviews nobody called me back. I had to make a decision, either I continue wear hijab and fight to get rights...or just work without hijab. First interview without wearing a hijab I got the job.

In my spare time I keep wearing hijab...but while going work and worktime this society force me to be without hijab. It's sad, but I need money for live, just like everyone else..

In The Name Of Allah the most merciful & the most Gracious :
may peace be upon U :
first that's very great that U'll write a book about Hihaab . U can find some very great information about hijaab from Alquraan kareem ..the main goal of hijaab is protecting the woman & put her in the highest places in the world I put hijaab coz Allah orderd me 2 do so In AlQuraan kareem ,& coz I love Allah very much & have a very deep faith of islam I dont ever try 2 think why Allah ordered me 2 do so coz in my deep heart I know that Allah who has created me in this world knows excactly the best 4 me ...Hijaab gives me the hole freedom that I need ...no 1 can say any bad word 2 me when I wolk coz they know that the woman who puts Hijaab is not 2 have a short good time with no she's specilized just 2 the 1 who wants 2 marry her & be her other half ...here's the greatest of Islam that it starts from building a very strong family where there's a very great deal of self confidence between the husband & the wife coz the wife knows very well that her husband choses her with hijaab & the husband knows his wife that never let any 1 sees any thing from her except her hands & face
Freedom is that when U feel that no 1 s looking at U 2 give U a mark about how much U r pretty ...islam rises the mindes 2 a place that they have only the right 2 contact with the information of the woman...
image if all the woman of this world r putting hijaab how much great relationship is going 2 be in the community ? would there any child with unknown father?..U know so many divorces r coz of the pretty singers & acteress .....
Hijaab inclouding that the woman most wear clothes which r wide ,thick ,& long ...she can show her face *ofcourse that will be very great if she tried 2 be natural & not putting makeup on her face*& hands ...she has the hole freedom 2 talk 2 any 1 carefully ,politely, without changing her toon in talking or does any bad movement i.e Hijaab incloudes all the highest respectable values

Salaam to the brothers and sisters who read this.
I am currently writing a book.
I am researching the role played by muslim women and the 'Hijab/Niqab. specifically I am looking for information on the attire itself. i.e what does the Hijab consist of? how/why does it play a major part in a muslim womans everyday life? what kind of impact does it have etc? I would love to hear from you especially if you yourself HAD or HAVE first hand experience at this. Thank you in anticipation.zamil
