Well, there is no such thing as love between two ghair meharram before before marriage. This is totally haram. Couples become soul mate after marriage, not before marriage.
Aw man he has to be muslim. I mean if are going to have someone as our soul mate they have to practice same as we do. Do it for the children (insha'Allah). I knew someone who is a muslima but her father was Jewish and her mother Christian. Something, isn't it?
Be with someone who love Allah, for that enlightens the mind.
