hi s khan the question about (insomnia).firstly to know what is it which causes insomnia.(stress and depretion)are the bigest name for causing insomnia.insomnia is found in males and females. but mostly found in females.if you can try to come out from stress and depretion then you will beat insomnia and you wil have nice sleep day after day insha allah.
Marhaba! For all you people who suffer from this sleepng disorder might try to help your selves by praying and rubing lavender baby lotion (for fussy babies) all over you body. IT works! believe me...... then you brush your hair , this will stimulate your scalp.... another solution is waking up early in the morning and starting you day active. ..well thats all they advice i got for now ...good luck! aisha-allah!
i would like to know more i know that prayers at night help but u can observe other methods i do force myself to sleep i cant help it and it makes me worse. i did try yoga once and it did help me to relax but i cant switch of at night i worry more at night because i am alone and thats when i start thinking of my problems and i get angry.its a vicious circle.
Hello Skhan,
if there is a real problem that makes You stay awake, then it is difficult. But even then You can practice yoga, especially breathing technics. In silence or while hearing Your favourite slow music. That has helped me. Ask me for details if You are interested. Bad methods are: watching TV, or staying in bed, worrying and giving Yourself order to sleep. Best wishes to You,
"My prescription for stress is to take a shower and pray two Rakats, then sit down and recite La Ilaha Illallah, a hundred times. There is no necessity for drugs. In fact psychiatrists should stop giving medicines and suggest this recital to their patients. Therefore the first Thableegh - La ilaha illallah, is for all people, for Muslims and Non-Muslims alike. A day would come when everyone has to say it.
People forget their Lord, their Creator, and as a punishment He is also leaving them as forgotten. It is just that these people are unable to reach to His blessings. Allah Almighty does not forget any of His creatures whether they be animals or reptiles or insects or whatever."
