Salaamu Alaikum,

I have a question, and wanted to know if anyone within the community has saw heed evidence that if you intentionally miss the salaat because you are busying yourself with other things such as talking on the phone, or just putting it off. Then it comes and goes and the next salaat has come. What is the ruling of making that salaat. I know that one of the sheik bin baaz has stated that you must make tau bah because it is a sin that everything has a prescribed time for which they must be done. Does anyone know of any other proofs

i agree with salafi..salat (praying) should always be performed wherever, whenever..only not when we are unconscious....they r other ways of performing if we are unfit or travelling..

A Fardh or Wajib Salaat which was not offered at the prescribed time, must be performed later. This is called Qadha Salaat.

Shaykh Uthaymeen mentions in his book fatwa irkaamul Islaam: That this action if missed attentionally is a Major Sin and must be repented from. Because it is from one of the conditions of Islaam and every salah must be prayed in its proper times As Allah Mentions that the salah is established in fixed times"
