Sorry I got the wrong message bro... if all you mean is an education and a decent living then there is nothing to fear.... you will find someone insha Allah. Good men are very had to find and sound like one of them, so whoever eventually has your heart for the sake of Allah will be a very lucky woman. wasalam

Salaam ArabianMyth,

Thanks for your kind and candid words. I never really meant "money" when I said that I have achieved a lot in terms of worldly matters. I meant I had good education and alhumdolillah have been living/working as a respectable professional. I am deeply sorry if I conveyed anything wrong.

Asalamu alaikum bro, yep well, welcome to the real world! it's hard finding someone that has true sencerity for Allah (S.W.T) in their hearts. You sound like a good man MASHAALLAH. If you are steadfast in your prayers then there is no need to worry, Allah will find for you someone!
Maybe ur looking in the wrong places, but also showing that you have money or material things might put off the right muslimah and turn on a material girl. I'd say it puts me off and I am a good muslimah who stongley belives in the aakhirah and have no desires of this world-just trying to be honest!
Hope you find the right one Insha Allah, wasalam.

salaam bro, just read Ur comments yes i do agree with u there i think that the women that u talk to maybe are trying to see that u suit their requirement...everyone have their way of getting to know someone...some pl think that first they should know how much a person is earning n then see about his family n so on...

as for me as a person even though I'm looking for friends i personally think that one should see what the person is on the inside b4 tackling the outside..yes i do agree with u that that ppl are materialistic unfortunately this the ugly truth in life...very few ppl can understand religion and at the same time each other..ppl assume that wealth is everything but i can assure you that these ppl would never be happy no matter how much or little u have...i think that u are a guy who is very intelligent and really be live that when the right one comes across she would be perfect..but at the same time dont give up hope I'm sure shes out there some where

I do understand that its a way to start a convo, but its not justified if the talks remain of the same kind every time with the same person. And when it comes to really talk about why are we really here and what we need to do, people think I am conservative or orthodox. It just leaves me with the notion that no one cares for anything other than materialism. Believe me I don't talk anything extreme, even then people give me that look. I am an educated progressive muslim, who understands the importance of both deen and duniya. But sadly, whoever I have come across have only worldy stuff in their eyes. This really disappoints me.

u know what bro i started laughing when i read this...yes i defiantly agree with u...that's the question wot most ppl do ask...probably coz they dont think that Ur their type or maybe they are trying to make a convo with u but not getting far...anyway if the problem persists why dont u start asking the questions n then see where it leads...
