In Qur-aan (3:105), Allaah, the exalted, has told us:

" And be you not like those who (got) divided and disputed, after the clear proofs had come unto them. And for them there is an awful punishment."

Can my dear brothers and sisters think and say : 1) Whether or not we are
divided, and in dispute 2) Whether or not we qualify for the punishment
which Allaah has promised, if we become like those people, who got
divided and fell into dispute, after the clear proofs had come unto them.

- Your worried brother.

Doesn't it say in some hadith that in the later years muslims would be persecuted from all sides and would war amongst themselves?

BAGHDAD, Iraq (July 9) - Masked Shiite gunmen roamed through west Baghdad's Jihad neighborhood Sunday, dragging Sunnis from their cars, picking them out on the street and killing them in a rampage that police said killed 41 people in a dramatic escalation of sectarian violence.

Hours later, two car bombs exploded near a Shiite mosque in the city's north, killing 17 people and wounding 38 in what appeared to be a reprisal attack, police said.

The Prophet(SAWS) once said "I asked my Rabb not to destroy my Ummah with drought. I also asked that He not send an enemy against them from other than their own selves, nor one that will take away their unity and strength. My Rabb said: 'O Muhammad! When I decree an order it cannot be rejected. I have granted you your request on behalf of your Ummah, that they not be in a state of drought. I will not send upon them an enemy from outside them who will take away their unity and strength - even if all the nations came against them. This state (of security) will remain - until they (themselves) begin to destroy one another, and to curse one another.'" [Saheeh Muslim: 2889]

We as Muslims (Thwe Whole Ummah) are making ourselves look bad to the whole world. Don't we know that ohers are rejoicing off of our internal conflict. We are like a man dying slowly from internal bleeding and none of us seem to care. Why arent we coming together to stop this? Why are we killing each other like this? I know this blog is going to make many of my brothers angry but if it takes this for us to realise the foolishness of our actions then so be it. Truthfully, today I am sad to be a Muslim. The only reason I hold on to what Allah(SWTA) & His Messenger Has given us is because it is in fact the truth. I agree with you brother We are definately looking like a nation marked for punishment.
