Is there anyone out there who loves to travel, meet all kinds of people and widen your circle of friends?

I can't seem to find a suitable travelling companion.

I wish I could visit all the Muslim communities all over the world...

Anyone share the same interest as me?

Sisters - did you end up traveling anywhere? Are there any upcoming trips planned?

Jewel.

About coming together and meeting at a central venue... NOW! That's an exciting idea!!! I love the thought of it.

I agree with you though, about prefering not to travel in the month of Ramadhan or days of/nearing to Eid. I, too, would want to spend that period of time with my loved-ones.

If you want to visit Malaysia, you can always contact me. Malaysia is our neighbouring country, I've been there countless times and would say that I'm quite familiar with it. We share some similar cultures.

And South Africa is one of the many countries, on my list of travel destination!

I once made a promise to myself that I would not travel further than Mecca if I have not visited the Ka'abah. After I performed Umra last June, I want to fulfill my wishes of seeing the rest of the world.

I'm a teacher and over here, the school holidays are around June (4 weeks) and December (6 weeks). Usually only the teachers would still have to stay in the first and last week of holidays to settle our administrative matters. So I'm left with the middle weeks. That's just some background information about me.

I really hope we can pull this off! It would definitely be worth an endless memories of sharing... Insha Allah!

slm sisters,

i was just reading your plans..i wish i could come along but unfortunatley im stuck at home. i have always wanted to go to isreal to see the mosque..inshallah one day..

you sisters if you do get together then inshallah it would be nice if you could put up some pictures to show the other sisters. i agree with sister jewel it would be nice to go on a spirtual holiday as well as enjoying oneself.

when i went to do umar in mecca with my mom and broters..at that time i had 4 children..it was brilliant we climbed mount hira and went to medina where we prayed in masjid asha, we also saw the masjid billal, but unfortunatley that was closed. we were also shown the well where the prophet (pbuh) brought from the jews..theses kinda memories stay with you forever no matter how much one can be frustrated with their companions.

in my case my sister in laws where a night mare.

as salaamu alaikum

this would actually be a neat idea. we all would coem from our different continent, meet at a central venue... and spend a few weeks travelling together.

i'm game. who else is? lets organise this well, and just do it.... soon insha'Allah, cos want to travel somewhere this yr. also note, ramadaan is on our doorstep.

places i'd liek to visit.
palestine, Jordan, Cairo, Spain/Morrocco, turkey, malaysia.

right now i'm looking for a spiritual destination, not just a holiday.

my travel times - any other time but not in ramadaan or the hte first 1o days of zil hujja.

any thoughts?

Hey Sabubu.

Sorry but I haven't been logging in for a long time.

As I'm typing now, I just came back from Korea. Went to Seoul and Jeju Island. Was there for 2 weeks. Before that, my sister and I dropped by Bangkok, Thailand and had a transit in Hong Kong.

We had a blast!

You could come join us, the next time we travel. My sister is nearer your age.

My next plan is to go to Beijing, China and take a plane to Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Return to Beijing and take the new express train to Lhasa, Tibet. Planning it for next June. Don't like travelling during winter. How's that? Hopefully, the plan would materialise. :)

Hi S

I'm interested but I'm not in the same continent as you so that may pose problems.

I'm interested in travelling the world at large.
