    asalamu wa alai kum

    sorry bro thats wrong.
If we change 'it' ourseves then wat does Allah swt have to change. This translation is used by the HT and other reveloutionists to support that we have to go out to rally and revolt.
Correct tranlation is "until we change the condition of 'ourselves' ....
Basically when the muslims return to the correct tawheed and beliefs of the first muslims (salafus salaheen) and imrove our actions, only then will Allah swt give us succsess and security in our lands and the world. In the first 13 yrs of islaam there was no war of fighting yet after the mesenger s.a.w educated and cultivated the muslims on what was correct, Allah swt gave them Medina through his mercy without any revolt. Also, they then walked back in to mecca to rule, without any need for fighting. instead of putting all the blame on to our leaders we need to concentrate on ourselves and our direct dependants. This is what Allah swt will ask us about. The leaders are just a reflection of whom they lead. so we need to change ourselves. Finaly I go back to the Quran. In Sura An Nur verse 55 Allah swt says "Allah has promised those amongst you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the presnt rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them authority to practise their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e.Islaam). And He will surely, give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. .......... .....
So people, Allah has promised to give ..not us to take. And He has given us the condition to forefill i.e believe and follow correct Islaam (stop our sins especialy shirk).
When we run in to the streets and demand the Islaamic state or when we commit attrocities to get the islaamic rule..what are we saying? Are we saying that we have forfilled the condition He swt gave us, but He has not kept his promise. I think not. Rather we do not say this about our lord Allah swt. In fact it is we that have not forfilled the condition.
More info on the Haq can be found on or wa asalam wa alai kum. Your Brother.

Allah says in Quran "He will not change the condition of a people unless they choose to change it themselves first".

THe reason behind the poverty is that in most muslim countries there is alot of corruption and abuse of power and none to account for . funds are utilized in a personal fashion. If muslims stop being hypocrite and follow the true islam they would rule as they had ruled in the past in the days of moses(AS) and Zulqarnain(AS).

You are right, we most of the muslims are poor, We can take example of all muslim country. all are fight each other. The basic reason behind is illetracy. in our religion it is more. Second reason is we are not giving much importance to women in our religion. In other they are equall to the man.

    Asalamu alaikum

Well maybe if we followed True Islam, we would deal with proverty better.
Then we would be patient, and get more Rewards from Allah(swt) And maybe our lives would be easier.
Everybody is so hung up on this world, that we forgot about the reason behind our creation.
The Profet(pbuh) and his companions who wheremuch better then us, suffered for a long time from proverty.
Allah tells us that this Life is for us a test.

The profet(pbuh) said: This world is paradise for the non-believers, and jail for the beleivers.

    keep that in mind.
And Allah will have mercy on u...

    Wa salamu alaikum...
